Bosnia and Herzegovina is a captivating blend of East and West, where the legacies of the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian empires create a unique cultural backdrop. With emerald rivers, lush mountains, and awe-inspiring waterfalls, nature reveals itself as a breathtaking spectacle. The scars of the 1990s Balkan Wars are still visible, but B&H has an authentic vibrancy that will shatter stereotypes. During my seven days of solo exploration, cosmopolitan Sarajevo, scenic Mostar, religious Medjugorje, and ancient countryside villages left me with an indelible positive impression.
The duality between mind and instinct has been a constant theme of my career break. Discerning what’s what can be challenging. On a solo glamping trip in Texas, nature sent me messages in the wilderness language. I’m learning to decode it and gather powerful insights.
